Today I’m a bit late, but for a good reason. I’m with friends at the observatory Max Valier in Gummer to watch the starry sky and there is no better place for today’s exercise or yoga asana called “The star”.
Just stand straight with straddled legs and put the arms a bit up. Than breath deeply and hold the position with tense muscles. The exercise looks quite easy but after a few minutes the arms are getting really heavy. Besides the arms the star is increasing the strength of the back and shoulder muscles. It’s also great for the spiritual strength and the interior balance.
