Day 34: Forward bend

One and a half years ago I attended a belly-self-massage-course, where I learned to relax or also to stimulate my stomach – depending on what it needed. The teacher of the course also showed us a few easy exercises that have a great effect on our stomach, like the forward bend.


It activates the stomach organs, like the kidneys, the liver and the pancreas and supports the digestion. Besides that you wll stretch the calves- and gluteal muscles, the biceps femoris and the back-extensor. Let’s go: Sit straightly with straight legs; bring your arms up and bend your torso slowly forward as much as you can. Avoid jerkily movements! And the back should remain straight…but that’s not so easy.
