Sometimes it’s very important to do something good for your self and so I’ll spend this weekend in the Hotel Bergschlössl in Lüsen: A bit of spa, good food, a lot of reading and sleeping and of course working out! Today I’ll do some Jack Knife Crunches – for some a contested exercise for the abdominals and the hip muscles, but if you do it properly it is very effective.
I lay down on my back and bring the straight arms and legs together until my fingers touch the ankles. Then they come back down without touching the floor. While doing this exercise it’s very important to avoid a hollow back. If you feel any sort of pain in the back it’s better to go on with bended knees or to stop.
