There are a lot of movements in everyday life that are not only good for the intended purpose, but can also increase the strength of our muscles. Today’s exercise comes right out from the kitchen and it’s called the chipper. Used in the kitchen with a knife to cut onion or chives, this movement can also help to activate end strengthen the deep muscles of the lumbar spine.
I stand straight with slightly bended knees and my forearms builds a 90° angle forward. Then I start to make short but fast up- and down movements with the forearms and totally tensed hands.
Have fun chipping!
