Day 235: Apple picking

When you train with kids it’s very important to describe the movements in a way that they have a lot of fun doing them and they can imagine something concrete. For today’s exercise to stretch the back, the spine and the shoulders, they have to imagine to pick some apples.

Therefore they stand straight and should imagine that there are a lot of apples they have to pick on a tree above their heads. Therefore they must stand on their tiptoes, extend their arms upwards and trying to get first one apple it one hand and then with the other by extending the arms alternately a little bit more.
